Extraspace was founded in 1986 Nick Wren and Andy Hall, back then both employees of the portable building industry, who felt that they could improve on what products and service were on offer to the industry.

Nick is a clear-thinking, un-hassled and technically minded person who will happily take on projects in far corners of the globe at a moment's notice.

Andy is constantly looking for ways to improve the design and range of the products on offer, whilst if possible reducing the cost of the to the end user.

Both believe that fairness and honesty is the only way to build a successful business.

This alliance has meant that the company has a unique outlook on business, driven to constantly keep improving and expanding on it's existing product range; whilst always working to improve services for the smooth supply of the full Extraspace product range.

With its hands-on approach, Extraspace is enjoying rapid growth in the U.K (and abroad), we can boast that our original customers are still being supplied by us today.

We regularly ask our customers exactly what they want to see in our product range, and if demand is high enough, we have set about designing and manufacturing the new product. This close co-operation has led to a faithful client base, as many of the products in the range have been developed in close liaison with customers - from concept through to product completion.

A recent example of this is the Expanda-kabin, which is the latest edition to our product range, we developed this product, because of requests from our customers. Although it has been 2 years in product development, it has been worth the wait.
