A city centre installation with all the usual difficulties in positioning units in the centre of London.
The marketing suite itself was easy to design and build compared with the road closures, crane lift over tower blocks and early morning schedules.
The 400 Ton crane hired to move the units at 5am one Friday morning managed to catch fire on the M40 the night before the installation.
The “never say never” attitude of Extraspace Industries kicked in and we were still able to take advantage of the road closure by organising a smaller crane to off load the modules. Leaving them dotted around the clients site.
We returned on the Monday morning with another huge crane to move the units into position.
The rest of the installation and dressing of the building was a doddle and as usual the unit was open for our client’s big launch.
